Meet Our Experienced Instructors
JESSICA FAWCETT
I am a certified birth and postpartum doula as well as a prenatal and Vinyasa yoga teacher. Supporting women and their families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum is a passion I hold near to my heart. With an extensive background in yoga I bring wisdom about the physical workings of the body to the laboring mother’s experience. It is my firm belief that women deserve to feel empowered, safe, and supported by all those involved in their journey through pregnancy and as new mothers. It is through my work as a doula that I am able to provide knowledge, physical and emotional support, as well as coaching through the most intense parts of birth. I also enjoy ensuring the family as a whole is supported during labor, encouraging partners to be as much a part of the process of supporting the birthing mother and bringing new life into the world as possible. It is through my personal experience of birth that I recognize the power and wisdom each person holds within themselves. During labor and through my prenatal yoga classes, I guide women in tapping into their own unique strengths to carry them through their pregnancy and birth with grace. Additionally, I am skilled at supporting pregnant women in the physical challenges and discomforts that can arise in pregnancy; offering a yoga practice that can help alleviate the physical, emotional, and energetic shifts that are inherent in being pregnant. I also work one on one with children experiencing physical disabilities, facilitating them in tapping into their own strengths and limitless possibility through yoga. I live in the mountains of Boulder with my husband, son, and two dogs. I enjoy yoga, rock climbing, running, and spending time outdoors.
What our students are saying
CHRISTY SKARULIS
' Top notch! I've compared notes with friends who have taken other PYTT's and am so glad I chose to go with Yogakoh. The attention to detail was exceptional. Thanks to Jessica's teachings and support, I feel very well prepared to teach prenatal yoga.'
JANA HEIDUK
' I'm so happy I took this training before having my baby. I was so scared of harming my body when doing my normal Yoga Routine that I stopped completely. The result: a lot of pain due to no physical trianing. Now, a few weeks after the PYTT my body feels great again. I feel safe in my own practice and my teaching. I can show pregnant mums that they can and should prepare their body for birth and I know the "why" which is the most important. '
GABRIELLE WILSON
'I loved learning from Jess. Her manner and the way she portrays herself. Loved learning about the female body and the process of birth.

Truly the best spent 3 weeks, and I feel fully confident to begin teaching to my community.'
