ABOUT

After the past few years we have all endured,

we keep coming back to the mat, to movement.

The constant practice, the letting go, the working hard, the showing up, the being brave, the sweaty brow, the sore body, the challenged mind. All in the name of growth.

It's no secret that this practice offers us something else to learn, to master, to pursue, and yup... we are hooked.

This 6 night 7 day retreat held in beautiful Hawaii will explore the inner workings of not only your body, but also your mind. Taking your practice to the next level by offering 2 different types of movement classes a day. You can expect yoga, strength training, mobility work, conditioning, dance cardio, subtle body investigation, breath work, meditation, and the most important PLAY.

The retreat center which is steps away from the ocean as well as some amazing trail heads will lend to daily exploration of this beautiful island so you can experience first hand: Mana Ohana

(power and strength of family / community)

Repeat. Positively affirming.

Knowing this truth to the deepest parts of you.
I.
Can.
Do.
NEW.
Things.

The Founder of YogaKoh, and teacher of over 15 years, 2022 will be Jolie’s 9th year leading Yoga Teacher Trainings. She has graduated hundreds of students and can truly say she is happiest guiding people into new discoveries of their mind and body.

Her first yoga influences came from her father, a spiritual man, who challenged her mind from a young age with yogic based philosophies and meditation. She grew up in Boulder, Colorado where she spent her youth studying dance and practicing yoga, which culminated in receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and movement studies from University of Colorado.

She spent 8 years in New York City as a dancer and performer and during this time she studied with a myriad of outstanding yoga teachers, deepening her knowledge of different traditions including: Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, Ashtanga, and The Yoga Works Method. She also worked as a master trainer for The Tracy Anderson Method, which kick-started her journey with the fitness world and love of travel as she crossed the world training.

After years in the city, she ventured to Bali to further her education and explore what South East Asia had to offer. She connected with the culture immediately, returning yearly, soon to call it home. It was here she pioneered one of the top Teacher Training programs on the island and built her company YogaKoh, an internationally recognized yoga school that offers yoga teacher trainings, continuing education courses, retreats, and workshops.

Her classes blend her love for the physical practice that shows up through creative movement and exploration as well as structured alignment and anatomy concepts, with the spiritually rich traditions inspired by her time in the East.  Her love for anatomy, energetics and philosophy inspire her continued studies and she is thrilled to be in a place to share and receive knowledge with such an incredibly community of people!

Watching this koh-mmunity of open minded, large hearted, passionate individuals expand across the globe has been a true gift and one she is dedicated to seeing thrive!
