MEET THE FACULTY
2019 will be Jolie’s 8th year leading Yoga Teacher Trainings. She has graduated hundreds of students and can truly say she is happiest guiding people into new discoveries of their mind and body.
Her classes blend her love for the strong physical practice inspired by the West, with the spiritually rich traditions inspired by her time in the East. Her love for anatomy, energetics and philosophy inspire her continued studies and she is thrilled to be in a place to share and receive knowledge with such an incredibly community of people!
Robin + Tyler Gardner
These high school sweethearts grew up in Whitefish, Montana and were lucky enough to have these mountains as their playground. They developed a strong passion for travel and have since visited over 35 countries together.
Certified Yoga teachers, hospitality experts and soulful adventurers, they have combine all of their passions into one, Dancing Spirit Ranch
And if they can’t find them there, you can usually find them hiking, skiing, or practicing yoga.
Cecily, or better known as Cici, is a native of North Carolina and has been a student of Yoga since late 2013. She grew up as an athlete, with a lot of time spent upside-down, but it wasn't until her early twenties that she finally gave yoga a fair try. Once she found her way to a Vinyasa class, she was hooked.
Her teaching of course focuses on linking movement with breath, but in a slow + anatomically-sound fashion. She aims to blend certain attributes from all her favorite Yogic styles (Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Jivamukti, + Yin) when crafting her classes so that they always feel unique.
Cici is full of gratitude for the opportunity to join in on future Yoga-Koh trainings, and be a part of the Koh-mmunity that has always supported and helped fuel her passion.
Meet Ananda Lakshmi Johnson, first and foremost a yogi, who has been practicing for over 30 years.
Trained extensively in the Iyengar method, and an experienced teacher she shares her wisdom with us.
She is also a phenomenal plant based chef who pours her heart into her food. She will be nourishing us all month and is truly the heart of Dancing Spirit Ranch.
Food is medicine and Ananda will give us insight to her knowledge.
As a resident of the beautiful state of Montana she will also share her joy for this beautiful land we are so lucky to train on!
Jolie is a beautiful spirit with a true gift for teaching! She encouraged openness and curiosity, allowing each of us to express our individuality and find the level of depth we were seeking. The information was presented in a thoughtful way that left me feeling fully prepared to step up to the challenge at hand be it the exam, teaching, or opening up to something new. It is difficult to put into words the gratitude I feel having been a part of this beautiful and thorough training. This course exceeded all hopes and expectations!
Studying with YogaKoh at Dancing Spirit Ranch was a better experience than I could have even imagined. I felt loved and guided, but also challenged and pushed. I feel ready to instruct yoga and motivated to continue learning about this community.
I loved the in depth study of asana - not only how they are aligned, but why. I also loved learning to chant and opening our days with it every once in a while. The community and sisterhood we created over the thirty days was also a very special part of the program.
An outstanding learning experience. From the physical practice, the theory, the history and philosophy, and the profession, Jolie and YogaKoh were extraordinary guides through a comprehensive, integrated course. I would strongly recommend YogaKoh’s program to lifelong students of yoga.
